” The Clipse have had their share of major label woes throughout the course of thier ten year career, first seeing their 1997 debut Exclusive Audio Footage shelved by their first label, Elektra. While their second (but first officially released) LP, Lord Willin’ , released on Star Trak/Arista, was certified gold, they found themselves shifted around again when Arista was swallowed up by the BMG / Sony merger, which landed them on Jive (while Star Trak found themselves with a new deal on Interscope).
After numerous label delays for Hell Hath No Fury, the Clipse kept thier buzz strong through the “We Got It For Cheap” mix CD series, finally reaching an agreement with Jive for the release date for the LP, now under their own Re-Up Record imprint (distributed by Jive). Given a PERFECT (5 out of 5) rating by XXL Magazine, the Clipse finally see their second album hitting shelves, produced entirely by The Neptunes, led by the singles “Mr. Me Too” and “Wamp Wamp” (feat. Slim Thug). ”
Volontairement, pas d’extrait audio. Je veux faire durer le plaisir.
